Hi all. Just an intro really. My name is Glenn, I live in New Zealand (where there seems to be alot of Lynch info and fans) and am always on the lookout for others to complete my collection - i have 7 so far. i`m definately gonna put this site down on my yahoo profile under Cool Sites, i think it must be promoted. Look forward to hearing from others,
Glenn

Glenn, we are in New Zealand too and we have 9 Lynch prints, two of the 'unknown title' ones were submitted by us.
We just purchased zena from the UK recently, only NZD200, couldn't believe it.
Which rare ones do you have? Apart from Zena we also have Ladoncella and Tara amongst the ones we consider rare.

Hi steven. 9! wow! and u say u got zena for "only" NZD200!!! I only paid NZD40 tops for any of mine, lucky i guess. the ones i own are Autumn Leaves, Nymph, Tina, Woodland Goddess, Tara, Tanya and the most recent was an Unknown, 2nd to the right of Ladoncella in the gallery. Got that in Levin in a 2nd hand shop for $40, altho the colour has that greeny look that too long exposure in the sun gives prints. I`ll replace it if i can. Thats my collection. I have a kinda theory about why so many Kiwis have these prints. I think it has to do with any Wahine dolls, art etc we grew up with, like Pania on the Rocks. What do u think? maybe so or a crock of s**t?
All the best,
Glenn

Hi folks,
I'm a fan of Lynch's ... I live in Melbourne, where prints of varying quality can be found at the Camberwell Markets on a Sunday morning as well as the always wonderful Chapel St Bazaar in Prahran. I bought a copy of the "Woodland Goddess" last week, one of three they had there for sale, though one was appalling quality but still selling for $75.
I was in Christchurch recently where Mr Pickwicks in Colombo St had two superb quality prints, one of Tina, another of Nymph, from memory, for about $60. I was sorely tempted but I was there for only a few days and couldn't face the logistics of bringing them back!
Many thanks for the site ...

Hi,
I'm a Lynch fan in Wellington, NZ.
I bought my copy of Zena for $50! Bargain of the century!
That brought my collection up to five prints. I wonder why there are so many Lynch fans in New Zealand...

Hey Kitschking,
I almost bought that print in the Levin shop!

Loue Shabner...I saw one of his works a while ago and thought it was marvellous.
I'd love to collect more of these, but my wife hates them and says they have to stay in the shed!

hey Flo - yeah it was up on that wall. I was only there to look at the pedal cars (the whole store is great) but just about had a heart attack when i saw a Lynch i didnt have. i hummed and ahhed cos it was greeny but knew if i didnt buy it then and there i would never see it again. I`ll replace it if i see another in better condition.

yeah, i stood there about 20 mins before deciding not to buy it!
The only other copy i've seen is in a fantastic vintage clothing store in Auckland.
