I am Ferdinand hansen from the Netherlands and i am in possesion of the woodland goddess and i would like to know more about it it was a present to my parents when they married.
It is a beautiful picture and it's not for sale, i can.t believe they sold that picture for such a low price, my grandfather bought the picture in 1968 or 1969 in the Netherlands from a little gallery in Haarlem near Amsterdam
greetings from Ferdinand Hansen

Ferdinand - you are not the first person who believes that he owns the original of a JH Lynch painting. Even though this might be a possibility until now unfortunately every such claim turned out to be in error.
It would be great if you could mail me a very close close-up of her face and a foto that is shot in such a way that the surface structure can be made out. If there is no such surface struture then it's a print, but I'm sure that you have already assured that it's not.

Hello Mario,
My boyfriend just got a painting today for £10 from old gentleman. He says it is an oil painting and has some damage to it. I am unsure of how severe the damage is but was thinking of getting it restored if it would be worth anything. How can you tell if it is an original painting? He is saying that it is definately not a print.
Please can you advise what sort of information can be provided about the Woodland Goddess which is the painting he got. Apparently it is a very large painting which has been placed on a wooden backdrop.
