Hello Everyone,I've recently started collecting Gypsy art and although I haven't acquired any Lynch art yet...
I would like to share the art I do have thus far and would welcome any comments. This first one is my favorite
and is a 32"x 24" Original Painting by dePre or dePie? Not quite sure of the name and although the signature
is clear, the way in which it was signed leaves room for contoversy. I have not been able to find anything about
this artist and if anyone can fill me in, it would be greatly appreciated.

Next is a 24"x 20" Print on board by Torino. I noticed that there is one other link to a Torino on this site and
so I would like to also share mine. I do not have any further information on this artist or print.

Next is a large Print @ 30"x 24" on heavy paper by Medeiros of what I beleive to be either Portuguese or Spanish.
I do not have any further information on this artist or print.

The next one is a 24"x 20" Print executed in a style similar to Torino but it is signed by H. Walter. I do not have any
further information on this artist or print.

Next is another Original Oil Painting @ 28"x 20" by S. Tolgle? I do not have any further information on this artist or Painting. http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o213/Aurealeus/GypsyGirl.jpg
And finally, there is one more Original Oil Painting @ 25"x 21" that is a favorite of mine and although different from
the rest, I feel the artist "Otto" captures the sensuality portrayed in most other Gypsy subject portraits. I do not have
any further information on this artist or Painting.

I have a few other Gypsy paintings and prints but they probably aren't worth mentioning further or portraying since
their style is disimilar to the rest including that of J.H. Lynch and the other Gypsy painters mentioned on these boards
and images shown. As previously mentioned, any and all comments are welcomed and especially if anyone has further
information about any of the artwork, prints or artists identified here.
I hope you enjoy my Gypsy Girls............Aurealeus

I have the original oil of the Torino print.Have you gotten any info on the artist?

I realize this is late and you possibly might not see my reply since this board does not notify you when a reply is posted and I only visit here occasionally.
To answer your question, I have performed extensive searches online regarding this artist without any luck. I suppose the only other option would be to research further at an art history library or kitch painting/artist expert.
I would be interested in seeing your "original" painting if you would be willing to email or post it somewhere online to view.
I recently accquired another print by Torino... similar to the one that is shown in this site's Gallery except it is a reverse "mirror image of what is shown there.

I cant believe there is such a big fan club of J H Linch. It seems realy strange that all these people are talking about my grandad. I just wish he was alive now to see how popular his art is.I must admit ,there realy is nothing else like it.I remember when I was a child and seeing one of his ladies on a Bond film."Look, there is one of grampy's paintings."in total amazement. And here we are now , amazed all over again at all the interest. I must say I am very touched by all the attention and would love to tell you more about him,but I think my mum wishes to remain annonimous. Besides I would have to do alot of reseach myself. I only went on the Internet to see if i could see any of his paintings, "And now look what you have done". I think maybe we should write a book.
