I found this print in a hotel in Iceland (Fosshotel in Husavik). It struck me as being quite similar to Lynch's style. Can anyone tell if this is a Lynch or not?
If anyone is interested I can provide further details about the location of the print.

That's a very beautiful painting indeed - is that a part of a signature I see at the bottom right? Do you still have access to the painting and are able to check? If that is a signature to me it looks more like an "M...." and it's not the typical all uppercase "J.H: LYNCH".

Unfortunately I no longer have visual access to the painting. I did try to make out the signature which was mostly behind the bottom edge of the frame. It didn't look particularly like JHLynch but was too murky to distinguish...

I own a copy of this print, and it is indeed beautiful, but sadly not a Lynch. It's by Stephen Pearson who painted many mass-produced masterpieces. I think I read somewhere that his "Wings of Destiny" was the biggest selling print of the 70's (don't ask me why - it's not a patch on his many portraits of women).
