I recently inherited a "Tina" and there is no doubt it is at the very least an original print. It was purchased in Victoria BC Canada in the early 1960's and it was hanging in my Grandparent's house for as long as I can remember. I had never seen another copy of this picture until I started doing a little research on the internet and found this, and several other sites. The backing of the frame is completely sealed so I can't see if there are any stickers or anythingon the back of the picture, without destroying the backing. There is a sticker on the sealed back saying it was framed in Victoria. Anyway, I was curious as to whether or not this picture has any value or not...it does say J.H. Lynch 61 in the bottom corner of the picture. I also have found it interesting that most of these pictures are known in Europe, but not so much here in North America.
I would appreciate any insight anyone can offer me.
Thanks, Kathie.

I also have an original painting Kathie.... do you mean a painting or a print.......
Mine appears to be a original painting done on hardboard i think.
I inherited it off my parents after they moved home and its been in the family since around 1962 I think.
I am also trying to find out how much a painting of this nature would be to acquire at auction since most prints vary between around £4.00 and £40.00 depending on the lady in the print and the issue.
